Tali Gallery is delighted to be hosting 3 artists and 2 staff from Goulburn Island off the Coast of Arnhem Land on Saturday 25th October.
The community will be curating and exhibiting their wonderful carvings and artefacts as well as demonstrating their painting and weaving crafts.
“From the Heart of Warruwi” is a self determination skills development exercise for this Community Art Centre.
It will also provide the opportunity for visitors to the Gallery to learn about the Creation stories that are inspired by the marine life within the surrounding Arafura Sea as well as see the artists at work.
